Rs4.5 million looted in bank robbery

SHEIKHUPURA - Eight armed dacoits barged into a bank and fled away with Rs4.5 million looted on gun-point afternoon here on Tuesday. The armed dacoits entered into United Bank Limited’s Khanpur branch forcibly after over powering security men.

They held all the staffers on gun point and collected cash of Rs 4.5 million, said Bank Manger Mushtaq Ahmad. After looting cash, they managed to escape on cars without hiding their faces. Factory Area police have started investigation.
