Okara - The constable who was shot at in the jurisdiction of B Division police succumbed to injuries in hospital.
A few days ago, three motorcyclists were standing near Sutlej Girls High School Okara. Constable Akram Ahmad along with other two police officials was patrolling. The cops asked them why they were standing there but the accused opened fire on them. As a result, Akram was wounded. He was admitted to the hospital but could not survive. His dead was taken to Police Lines where his funeral prayer was offered. DPO Dr Abid Raja,traders, journalists and unions’ representatives attended funeral.
