LONDON - PML President Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that he considers Pakistanis living overseas as an asset for Pakistan and appreciates their valuable contribution towards nation-building process.

He made this statement when Adviser Foreign Relations, Javed Malik, called on him in London on Friday afternoon and briefed him on the various initiatives being launched to reach out to overseas Pakistanis as well as building a positive image of Pakistan on an international stage from the PML-N platform in accordance with the vision of the party President.
Nawaz Sharif directed the adviser to continue to work closely with Overseas Pakistanis and create more opportunities for them to work closely with the party as well as play an active role in the development of Pakistan.
The PML-N has been actively engaging Pakistanis living overseas and Nawaz Sharif has been addressing large number of Pakistani businessmen.
