ISLAMABAD - The federal government has appointed Dr Raja Amjad Mehmood as a administrator of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and notified all the concerned to follow the orders.
In the recent crisis, the Ministry of National Regulations and Service has appointed administrator in Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. The executive committee of the council has welcomed the decision and expressed its joy over the decision saying that it has been a long awaited decision to tackle the issues of the council.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PM&DC executive committee has been aggrieved over the alleged corruption in the council and specially mismanagement of money in the construction of its headquarter building and some college recognition affairs.
The committee said that its hopeful that the administrator will tackle the issues on priority basis.
It’s been also revealed that the election commissioner of PMDC has lodged FIR against Dr. Ahmed Nadeem Akbar for tampering in elections and having more than one forged domicile.
