Eight of a family die in road crash

QUETTA - Eight people of a same family, including two women and three children, were killed in a collision between a truck and car in Kuchlak, some 20 kilometers away from Quetta, on Wednesday.
According to the police, a car was on way to Chaman from Quetta when it collided with a truck coming from opposite direction near Killi Sheikh Khan area on Quetta Chaman Highway, leaving eight occupants of the car dead. 
The truck driver fled after the incident.
Police transported the victims to Quetta Civil hospital where they were identified as members of the same family and residents of Satellite town, Quetta.
Police said that they were heading to Chaman for attending a marriage.
A case has been registered and the police is trying to arrest the truck driver.
