FAISALABAD - Six bombs, carrying 30 kg explosive material, were recovered outside the Borstal Institution and Juvenile Jail Friday.
Reportedly, the police and bomb disposal squad rushed to the site after a man informed the police about the bomb outside borstal at a field agricultural land. According to the Madina Town SP, the bombs could have flattened the jail.
It was learnt that the bombs were homemade and the business of firecrackers was being run in the area though the Punjab government has cancelled all the licenses of making fire crackers.
