Brothers killed by uncle for land

Ferozwala – Two brothers were gunned down by their uncle accompanied with his accomplices over land dispute in village Khuna Rangran in the limit of Sadar Muridke police station on Wednesday.According to details the deceased Mohammad Ali 28, Nasir 23 (brothers) had land dispute with their uncle Abbas. The deceased were working the fields when about ten men attacked and shot Mohammad Ali and Nasir, they died on the spot. Sadar Muridke police have started investigation against Abbas and others. 12 dilapidated buildings to be demolished: As many as twelve buildings in the city have been declared utterly dilapidated, this was revealed in a survey conducted by the TMA staffers here on Wednesday. The TMA administrator also holding charge as district co-coordinator officer (DCO) Kiran Khursid has issued notices to the owners to demolish the buildings. The authority would otherwise take legal action against them. The dilapidated buildings are mostly located in the old city. The owners are identified as Mohammad Aslam, Taj Din, Rahmat Ullah, Mohammad Ibrahim, Karim Bibi, Khan Rashid Ahmad, Rafique Ahmad Jamil, Hakim Raiz, Jalal Din and Mohammad Kashif.Four notorious dacoits arrested: The regional police officer (RPO) in a press briefing here on Wednesday disclosed that four notorious dacoits were arrested and 3500 grams of gold and Rs500, 000 in cash was recovered from them. The valuable were looted by them from Ali Jewelers and another gold smith shop in the city. The team consisted of CIA police which brought the accused back from Karachi where they took shelter RPO said.In another incident a land lord Mohammad Khan was shot dead by his rivals over land dispute in village Mandiala. Safdar Abad police have started investigation against Saeed and others.
