Khosa asks SC to take notice of Punjab CM’s statements

Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has said that Sharif brothers were product of dictatorship and their minds and actions were against democracy.

Talking to media here in Multan on Monday, Khosa said Sharifs first refused to accept Benazir Bhutto as prime minister and now they were doing so in the case of Yousuf Raza Gilani.
He said Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was doing the politics of Gherao and Jalao and encouraging acts of violence. He said the Supreme Court should take notice of the statements of the chief minister.
In reply to a question, the governor said the federation would be strengthened with the creation of South Punjab province and those creating hurdles in its way would be defeated in the next elections. He said the creation of new province would open job opportunities for the people and bring development.
He said a decision to reopen the NATO supply routes would be beneficial for Pakistan.
