MULTAN  - Two blasts occurred here at Nag Shah Chowk on Saturday creating panic among people. However, no loss of life and property was reported. According to bomb disposal squad in-charge Maqsood, two bombs packed in shopping bags were placed in a dumping site of building material which was owned by a local shopkeeper namely Muhammad Arshad. The explosions developed small crater. The second blast occurred after five minutes of the first. According to bomb disposal squad, one and one and half kilogram of explosive material was used in both the blasts.
Remote-controlled device was used for explosions, says Maqsood.
According to SP Cantt Mansoor, police have cordoned off the areas and started investigation.
