Establishment of Army Cardiac Centre approved

islamabad : President Asif Zardari on Saturday on the advice of Prime Minister has approved establishment of Army Cardiac Centre at Lahore to cater to the growing requirements of cardiac treatment facility to army personnel, their families and the people of surrounding areas. The summary received in this regard said that the number of patients at CMH Lahore for the facility of cardiac treatment exceeded beyond its capacity, which therefore necessitated the establishment of ACC.

It said that for the Cardiac Centre, with its manpower of 309 personnel, the posts of uniform personnel would be filled from the existing strength of the Army whereas the civilian posts will be filled after framing and getting approval of the recruitment rules.
It said that other resources such as transport vehicles and ammunition would also be arranged from the existing resources of Army.
