ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said on Thursday the expeditious releases of funds must be ensured for timely completion of the ongoing developmental projects.
The PM said this while talking to Federal Minister for Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh  During the meeting, the finance minister apprised the Prime Minister about the overall economic situation in the country. He also congratulated the Prime Minister on his successful visit to the UK.
The PM further said that the coalition government has made unprecedented allocations in Public sector Development Programme (PSDP) in energy, infrastructure and social sector.
“Benazir Income Support Programme is the internationally acclaimed flagship programme of our government, providing reaching out to the poor and deprived segment of society. The coalition government attaches the highest priority to the welfare and uplift of the people and equitable distribution of resources to all areas”, said the Prime Minister.
