President directs Qaim to resolve MQM’s reservations

KARACHI - Following the MQM’s anger and allegations on ruling PPP for withdrawing cases of Lyari gang-war criminals, President Asif Ali Zardari has directed Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah to resolve the reservations of the MQM.
Meanwhile, after MQM’s boycott of in-camera session of Sindh Assembly on Karachi’s law and order, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Karachi on Thursday evening and shared the MQM’s reservations over the reports of withdrawing of Lyari gang-war criminals’ cases.
President assured the governor to resolve all the issues and reservations of the MQM and will not take solo flight in decisions.
During the governor’s meeting, the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also present.
The current situation, law and order and other matters relating to developmental projects in the province were discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, Governor State Bank of Pakistan Yaseen Anwar today called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House Karachi.
Governor SBP briefed the President about the Annual Report of the Central Board of Directors of the State Bank of Pakistan on the State of the Economy for the year 2011-12 and also on the status of Currency Swap Agreements of Pakistan with various countries.
