Raisani says his presence in country was not necessary

LAHORE - The dismissed chief minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani says action against his government was unjustified as nobody had contacted or consulted him before showing him the door.In a TV interview in London, where he has been staying for the past several days despite knowing that over 80 people had been killed in his province, he said if killings were used as a pretext for action against him, the situation in Punjab, KP, Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan was not any better. He said his presence in the country was not necessary after he had given all necessary powers to the FC.The chief minister’s job is to give policy, not physically fight against terrorists, he argued. Raisani said his allies had assured him of their full cooperation and he would chalk out his future course of action soon.
