The Difa-e-Pakistan Council has declared to continue protest across country against the government’s decision to reopen Nato supply routes, till its closure yet again.
He stated that the continuity of drone attacks by the United States after resumption of Nato supply is a slap on government’s face.
He declared that the peaceful protest against the resumption of Nato supply will continue till its closure yet again.
He stated that they would not stop Nato supply with the use of power, nor they block any road from which Nato containers pass.
The Spokesman claimed that the government has made a compromise on the blood of the martyred soldiers and citizens.
He stated that if government will not review its decision to reopen Nato supply, then the mass protest will flee away the rulers.
On the other side, the DPC will take out rallies in Peshawar on Monday and Tuesday against the resumption of Nato supply.
The rallies in Peshawar will be headed by Chairman DPC Maulana Sami-ul-Haq. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Munawar Hassan, Head of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) Hafiz Saeed, Head of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed and Coordinator DPC Gen (R) Hameed Gul will also take part in the Peshawar protest rallies.
The supply routes to Nato forces in Afghanistan were recently reopened by the Pakistani government after the US apologized for the Nato cross-border attack which killed 24 Pakistani soldiers last year.
Pakistan, after closing the supply routes in retaliation to the attack, had insisted that the US give a formal apology over the incident.
