At least four member of a family including a woman and her three children were killed when a mortar shell hit a house here in Peshawar on early Sunday morning.

As a result of mortar shell attack a portion of the house was destroyed resultantly killing four persons including a mother and her three children.
Police officials said the militants wanted to hit the security forces but the shell missed the target and landed at the house.
However, some sources claimed that the attack was outcome of personal enmity.
A case has been registered against unknown miscreants and investigations were in progress.
