WAZIRABAD - Almost 2,000 employees of Pakistan Revenue Automation Ltd (PRAL), a subordinate Wing of the FBR, could not be given their salaries, creating numerous problems for the staffers and their families.
Due to the non-payment of salaries, the employees could not pay their utility bills and school fee of their children, causing them severe distress for them.
The PRAL is a wing of the FBR that manages IT wing in RTO, Dry Ports, Air Ports and FBR offices. The total strength of PRAL is 2,000 employees approximately. It is to be noted that the PRAL employees have been facing such situation after almost every 2 to 3 months and have to pay for the departmental irregularities which badly disturb their domestic life. The aggrieved employees have demanded the FBR chairman to take notice of their sufferings and ensure timely payment of their salaries to avoid inconvenience to their families.
