PM seeks best residential facilities for pilgrims

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Minister’s House Friday evening and apprised him of the arrangements made by his Ministry for the upcoming Haj.
The Prime Minister asked the Minister to ensure provision of best residential and other facilities to the pilgrims. He also directed the Minister to appoint competent officers who enjoy good repute as khudams in Directorate of Hajj.
The Prime Minister appreciated the decision of Ministry of Religious Affairs to provide free meals to the pilgrims during their stay in MINA for three days. Syed Khursheed Shah also apprised the Prime Minister about various flood-affected areas of Sindh. Over all political situation also came under discussion during the meeting.
