Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will represent Pakistan in three-day RIO+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development being held in Rio De Jeniro‚ Brazil from June 20-22, 2012.

Earlier, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani was scheduled to represent Pakistan in the RIO+20 UN Conference; however, sources said that Gilani canceled his visit due to the current political situation in the country.
During her visit, the Foreign Minister will have an opportunity to meet world leaders on the sidelines of the conference.
