At least four persons were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire at them here on Tuesday.

According to police, in Kabarri Market at Sarki Road of Quetta unknown armed motorcyclists opened firing killing four persons on the spot. The assassins managed to escape from the scene after committing quadrupled murder.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico legal requirements.
Two among the deceased belonged to Hazara community and were stated to be real brothers.
Heavy contingent of police and other law enforcement agencies personnel cordoned off the area after the incident and started search for the murderers.
Police said that the shooting seems to be outcome of targeted killing.
The citizens have expressed grave concern over unabated target killing incidents in different parts of the province. They demanded the federal and provincial governments besides law enforcement agencies officials to take solid steps to bring the law and order situation of the provincial under control and stop the targeted killing of innocent especially members of Shiite community.
People said that despite presence of police and FC in large number in Quetta, targeted killing incidents have become a routine. They said that suddenly some people emerge on motorbikes and after firing disappeared but the law enforcement agencies are unable to arrest any.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case against unknown assassins and started the investigations.
