LAKKI MARWAT - Three people were killed and another got wounded in separate firing and road related incidents in different parts of the district, said a police official on Tuesday.
The official said that two shooting incidents took place in the area limits of Ghaznikhel police station wherein two people were killed. The said that in the first incident, which occurred in Paharkhel Pakka village, a man identified as Noor Khan shot and killed Ghazi Marjan over a land dispute.
“The killer escaped, however, the local police registered a case against him under relevant section of law on the complaint of Gulfanullah, the son of deceased Ghazi Marjan”, he maintained.
He said that in the second firing incident one Ajmal was gunned down by his rival Arif Momin over some old blood feud in Titterkhel village. The police registered a case against the killer and started investigation”, he told.
In another incident, a motorcyclist was killed and his companion got wounded as a result of collision between a pickup and motorcycle on Chashma Road near Darra Tang.
The deceased and injured were identified as Muhammad.
Meanwhile, some unknown bandits looted cash, gold ornaments and other goods from a house and a shop in Serai Naurang town.
A source said that at least six bandits sneaked into the house of one Almas Bibi situated in Tanchiabad locality of Naurang town and looted cash Rs 800,000, 25 tola gold ornaments and a shotgun from the family.
In another incident, unknown burglars sneaked into the shop of Fareedon Khan in Naurang Bazaar and took away a UPS battery and mobile phone sets worth Rs 400000. Police registered separate cases and began investigation.
