Four job seekers sold in Karachi

OKARA - Having deluded three females and a child with false claims of providing jobs in Karachi,
Rani, a resident of village Chah Meraywala, Dakhli Mardani, filed an application in the Sessions Court that four months ago, Hajran, Nazeeran, Nazeer Ahmad, Mohammad Saleem, Bushra from 31/GD came to her house. “They told me that they could arrange jobs for my children in Karachi. They said that they would pay her in advance as well,” she said.
Thus, she got agreed and sent Atiya, 14, Laila, 16, daughter-in-law Mehwish, 25, and grand son Adnan, 9, along with them. Later, she asked Nazeer about the whereabouts of her children but he refused to tell her anything. “He even did not make any advance payments to me,” she said.
During a meeting of notables, she said, the accused confessed that they had sold her kids in the business hub. The court of the additional sessions judge ordered the registeration of a case against the accused. The police registered a case against the criminals under section 365/TP, but so far neither the children have been recovered nor the accused arrested.

The funeral prayers of Abdul Ahad, who was also head of Jamia Ashrafia Rehman Colony, was offered in central Janazgah. It was attended by religious scholars, political, social dignitaries, office-bearers of trade unions including Chemists and Druggists Association district President Zia Ahmad Khan. His dead was also condoled by JUI-F Ameer Maulana Fazalur Rehman, Central Secretary Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Hafiz Hussain Ahmad, Anwar Shah Bukhari, Ehtishamul Haq Gillani, Syed Ehsanul Haq Gillani and Ghulam Mehmood Anwar. They prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
