FEROZWALA - Dozens of villagers along with the aggrieved family from Dera Farooq on Friday staged a demonstration against the Farooqabad Saddar police for not arresting the rapists.

While, Farooqabad Saddar SHO Salim Niazi said that two rapists among four were arrested, adding two others would also be taken into custody soon.
But the victim’s relatives turned down the SHO claim, demanding police high-ups to look into the matter and arrest the rapists immediately.
Separately, two people were killed while two others injured in road accidents on Friday.
In first incident, a speedy car hit two motorcyclists on Kala Khatai road, killing Anwaar-ul-Haq and injuring Irshad.
In second incident, a speedy truck ran over two motorcyclists, both brothers, on Lahore Road killing Zeeshan on the spot. His younger brother, Irfan, was severely injured. The police were searching for the escaped car and truck.
