FATA uplift KP govt’s top priority: Malik

Interior Minister and Senator Rehman Malik on Wednesday said that the government is utilizing all of its resources for the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.

He said this in a meeting with Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Affairs (SAFRON), Engineer Shaukatullah.
The Interior Minister said that the progress and well being of the people of FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Chitral and other northern areas. The PPP-led coalition government is trying its best to resolve all the issues of the aforementioned regions on top priority.
Rehman Malik assured the federal minister SAFRON that soon he will visit Dir and Chitral and would personally review the issues related to passport and NADRA issues.
Meanwhile¸ Interior Minister Rehman Malik also met with Federal Minister for Postal Services Sardar Muhammad Umar Goraije and discussed the overall situation of the Balochistan province including the issues regarding passport and NADRA.
In another meeting with the delegation of media stakeholders, Rehman Malik said that the government would provide complete security to Media Houses.
