One killed in attack on Nato tanker

Quetta - A driver of Nato tanker was killed and another wounded in a firing incident, in Dera Murad Jamali, tehsil of Naseerabad, on Tuesday. According to police officials, a tanker carrying fuel for Nato forces deployed in Afghanistan was passing from Dera Murad Jamali on National Highway when armed men opened fire on it.

As a result, one driver identified as Muhammad Omar died on the spot while his companion Khadim Hussain sustained serious injuries.
The tanker overturned after the attack.
Police and other law-enforcement agencies rushed to the site and moved the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
The injured was later shifted to Larkana for further treatment.
Police said that the deceased belonged to Karachi.
Police have registered a case and started further investigations into the incident.
