islamabad - President Asif Ali Zardari has appointed Vice Admiral Muhammad Shafiq as Vice Chief of the Naval Staff with immediate effect, said a notification issued here on Tuesday. Vice Admiral Shafiq was commissioned in the Operations branch of Pakistan Navy on June 1st, 1977.
