Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that his party would raise the issue of targeted killings in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The former prime minister held a long meeting with the Ulema and assured them that the PML-N would raise the issue in the parliament.
The religious leaders apprised the PML-N chief about the precarious law and order situation in the region.
Nawaz Sharif said that the government had failed to bring peace in Gilgit-Baltistan as it had no interest in the region.
Sharif had arrived in Skardu on Tuesday to express solidarity with the army over the Gyari sector incident.
