The motive of the offence could not be ascertained. According to villagers deceased Abdullah had a dispute with the accused party over some trivial issue following which more than 12 accused armed with sophisticated weapons raided Abdullah’s residence and opened indiscriminate firing on the inmates.
Resultantly Abdullah died on the spot while his daughter Nusrat, Nuzhat, Maryam and two sons were seriously wounded. The injured were rushed to Pindi Bhattian Hospital from where Nusrat was referred to Faisalabad Hospital in critical condition.
