Blast accused Dr Usman given 48 times capital punishment

Faisalabad  - Special Anti-Terrorist Court number 1 judge Masood Arshad has awarded 48 times capital punishment, 140 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2.82 million to main accused Dr Usman Ghani of bomb blast incident near sensitive law-enforcement agency office in Faisalabad. The bomb blast incident took place on March 8th, 2011.  Some 24 people were killed in the blast and some 10 people were critically injured. The blast occurred outside a CNG station near the office of sensitive law-enforcement agency office located in the precincts of police station Civil Lines.ATA court awarded punishment to the main accused Dr Usman Ghani while his companion accused Abdul Rehman was released by the court after giving him the benefit of doubt.
