KARACHI- Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) on Sunday organized party elections for the year 2012 in Lal Qila Ground Azizabad. A large number of office-bearers and workers of the party exercised their right to vote at various tiers of the party including the co-ordination committee, sectors, units, zones and district committees.
An election commission was set up for holding the elections. Polling booths were setup in order to facilitate the voting. Polling started at 9 am in the morning and continued till 5 pm in the evening. MNAs, MPAs, office-bearers of various wings of the Muttahida Quami Movement and members of different resident committees were present on the occasion.
