BAHAWALPUR - Renowned faculty member of Computer Engineering, Dr Andreas Matzke who is associated with Senior Expert Services (SES), a German organization, visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and conducted a ten day training workshop for the students and faculty of University College of Engineering and Technology (UCE&T) and IT Directorate staff. During the activity training about relevant subjects of Computer Engineering including lamp server, visual basic, apache, my SQL, PHP and virtual mechanism was imparted.
He congratulated Principal UCE&T, Prof Jan Muhammad Keerio for organizing the event and also lauded the contribution of Director Research, Innovation and Commercialization, Dr Asghar Hashmi.
German Scholar Dr Andreas Matzke admired the potential and professional skills of students and faculty of the IUB and thanked the Vice Chancellor for great hospitality extended to him.
Later on, the Vice Chancellor distributed certificates among the workshop participants and presented university shield to the German scholar. On the occasion, local industrialist Rana Muhammad Khalid, Dean Faculty of Education, Dr Karamat Mehmood, Dean Faculty of Arts Dr Razia Musarrat and Chairman Hall Council, Dr Rao Muhammad Afzal Khan were also present.
