KAMOKE - The local people have accused that the National Database and Registration Authority Kamoke officials demand bride for issuance of Form B or CNIC otherwise they have to wait for hours in long queues under open sky in front of the office.
They also urged the authorities concerned to look into the matter to provide them with a sigh of relief.
PRIVATE SCHOOLS STILL OPEN: The public sector schools and colleges across the Punjab province were closed for summer vacations on June 1. However, in spite of sizzling hot weather and loadshedding, private schools are still open under the guise of summer camps.
Local people said that the purpose is only to loot the poor. The government of Punjab is requested to look into the issue. After budget, the utility corporation has raised the prices of a number of commodities like toothpaste, soap, milk, surf, tooth brush and bathing soap. The increase in prices is from Rs1 to Rs15.
MANGO PRAISED: Mango is a delicious and high nutrient fruit.
However, artificial methods are being adopted for ripping the fruit, which creates bad effects on human health. It is expected that this year the yield of mango will reduce to 1.2 million tones, with a 30% decrease than the previous year. So this year, its prices will be high.
