Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Thursday the present democratic government believes in freedom of expression and considers media freedom inevitable for growth of democracy. This he said while a chairing a high level meeting at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting after taking charge of the ministry following allocation of the portfolio on Wednesday evening.Earlier on his arrival at the ministry along with Minister of State Sumasam Ali Bukhari he was received by Secretary Information and Broadcasting Taimur Azmat Osman and other senior officials.
