KHANEWAL - Vehicle lifters and snatchers are active in the city. Daewoo Terminal manger’s motorcycle was snatched on gunpoint and the car of a patrol station owner and a bike of a former councilor were lifted.

The locals have demanded immediate action against the outlaws. Fawad Ahmad was coming back from Daewoo terminal to his home. When he reached near Khanewal guest house, two armed motorcyclists stopped him and snatched his motorcycle. In another incident, the car of Muhammmad Akber, the proprietor of Punjab Petroleum Service Awan Chowk, was lifted from outside of Mezan Bank. Likewise, the bike of Muhammad Mukhtar Ahmad was also lifted from outside his house. The City police have registered FIRs.
