ISLAMABAD - The Supreme Court of Pakistan was informed on Wednesday that the federal government had issued notifications to fill vacant posts of judges in all the special courts.A three-member bench comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain heard the case of shortage of judges in special courts.Deputy Attorney General Aleem Abbasi informed the apex court that the notifications had been issued to fill the vacant posts of judges in special courts including banking, anti-terrorism, accountability and anti-corruption in addition to central judge Karachi and Hyderabad.The court on the statement of the learned deputy attorney general disposed of the case.
