President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed the hope that resumption of cricket matches between Pakistan and India would prove to be a formidable confidence building measure and a way forward towards encouraging people-to-people contacts. The president said this in his letter addressed to Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh that has been sent through the Pakistan High Commission in India.
