PESHAWAR - Condemning the adventurism against the superior judiciary, activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Peshawar chapter on Monday held a strong protest demonstration here at Saddar road outside the Press Club. The protestors led by PTI provincial leader Shaukar Ali Yousafzai, Yasin Khalil, former town-III nazim, Raes Khan and Haji Fazl-e-Ilahi were holding placards and party flags. While chanting slogans in favour of the independence of judiciary and against the tycoon Malik Riaz and the incumbent government, gathered in front of the Cantonment Railway Station.   Addressing the protestors, PTI leaders alleged that the PPP-led government under a well-cooked conspiracy has brought an individual - Malik Riaz - to disregard the Chief Justice and ultimately curb the independence of judiciary. They said, ‘we strongly condemn both Malik Riaz and the ruling alliance, who been started rampant corruption and destroyed the country economically.They vowed that PTI has come out for the protection of judiciary and the country at large. “We will fight shoulder to shoulder with judiciary,” he added. They further alleged that Malik Riaz is a conspirator and should be award severe punishment for developing a crisis-like situation in the country. In the protest rally besides others, activists of PTI youth wing in the leadership of its district president Fahim Khan also warmly participated.Earlier, expressing full confidence in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership, a PML-Q worker and former nazim Hazar Khwani Union Council Haji Fazal Elahi along with his friends announced joining Imran Khan-led PTI caravan.Speaking at a news conference here at the Press Club, Elahi said that he had received invitations from different political parties but PTI was the only party which has the vision to pull the country and its masses out of the existing crisis.Flanked by PTI provincial leaders Iftikhar Jhegra, Shukat Yousafzai, and Shah Farman, he said that PML-Q former provincial president Ameer Muqam has done a mistake to join PML-N because Nawaz Sharif could not serve the poor people, adding PPP, ANP and MMA had been given a chance to server the masses but their politics had remain upto hallow claims and promises that disappointed the people.
