Kazmi gets freedom on 7-day parole

RAWALPINDI – The former minister for religious affairs, Hamid Saeed Kazmi has been freed on a 7-day parole.

The paroled former minister arrived in his native Multan by road, where he would be participating in Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid Milan gatherings and parties. During telephonic talks the minister said that he would talk to media only after consultation with his legal counsel. Hamid Saeed Kazmi was arrested over the Haj scandal.
