New spell of monsoon rains starts today

ISLAMABAD - Met Office forecast a new spell of monsoon rains in the country starting from today (Monday).

The country witnessed decrease in the monsoon rains during the past week and as a result the mercury started to go up, a private television channel reported.
Highest temperature during the past 24 hours was recorded in Dalbandin where mercury soared up to 45 degree centigrade.
According to Met Office, monsoon currents will enter upper parts of the country today due to which new spell of rains will start in parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper parts of the country which will last till Wednesday.
