A two-member bench of Sindh High Court comprising Justice Maqbool Baqir and Justice Riyazat Ali heard the petition, filed by Haji Ameer Gul Ahmed.
The petitioner held the stance that the government and their allies do not give importance to judicial orders. He further stated that the honourable court had ordered the two abovementioned personalities on January 21 to dispose of the petition demanding changes in the oath of election-nominees in a four-week time period, making the oath pro-Islamic.
Contrarily, the two personalities have done nothing in this regard, Haji Ameer Gul said.
He demanded of the court to charge them with contempt of court under Article 204 of the Constitution. He furthered that the government has no time for implementation of the Quran and Sunnah, as the people of secular minds are ruling the country.
