quetta - At least two people, including a woman, were shot dead in Sariab locality of Quetta on Saturday. Police said man and a woman were travelling in rickshaw near Killi Sardey area of Sariab when unidentified armed men riding a motorbike sprayed them with bullets. As a result, couple sustained serious wounds and died immediately.

Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordoned off the area.
The deceased were taken to the Bolan Medical Complex Teaching Hospital for autopsy. The man was identified as rickshaw driver Maula Dad whereas the identity of the woman could not be ascertained.
Police said a case had been registered and investigations were underway to ascertain real motive behind the incident.
