Textile factory fire causes millions of rupee losses in Faisalabad

Clothes, goods, machinery and raw material worth millions of rupees was burnt to ashes due to fire in a textile factory here in Faisalabad on early Friday.

According to details, fire was caused due to sparking in an electricity generator during loadshedding hours erupted the textile factory located in Millat Industrial Estate of Faisalabad.
Cotton, clothes, inflammable raw material added to the flames and soon entire factory was engulfed.
The rescue teams and fire brigades reached the scene soon after getting the information and started the efforts to extinguish the fire. Dozen of rescue workers and 10 fire brigade engines took part in the operation and it took several hours to bring the wild fire under control.
Meantime, manufactured cloth, raw material, cotton yarn and machinery worth millions of rupee were burnt to ashes.
