ISLAMABAD - Pakistan People’s Party Senator Babar Awan on Tuesday said the people responsible for advising former PM Yousuf Raza Gilani not to appeal against his conviction in the contempt of court case would be soon unveiled.

“No client would forget the lawyer, who charged Rs 100 (fee),” Babar commented after the Supreme Court judgment on National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza’s ruling on the disqualification of Gilani.
He was talking to the media persons after the hearing of a case outside the Islamabad High Court. “In Rs100, it is only possible to purchase petrol to reach the Adiala Jail,” he remarked.
Babar said it appeared as if there would be a huge upset in the Supreme Court Bar elections next time around, but added that he was more interested in advocacy rather than politics.
