CHINIOT - Two people were killed while another injured in separate incidents in different areas here the other day.
Six armed men led by accused Nawaz shot at and killed their opponent Munawar, son of Sukha over a land possession dispute in suburban Asian village, some 15-km from here on Chiniot-Pindi Bhattian Road. The accused fled from scene while the Saddar Police registered a case against them. Meanwhile, in a similar incident one Irshad Ahmad shot at and critically injured his rival Imdad Hussain at a wedding function. The police registered a case and arrested Irshad red-handed from the party in same village.
Meanwhile, an unidentified young man was crushed to death by a passenger bus at Tehsil Chowk. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertain and was buried by Edhi volunteers.
