ISLAMABAD - The meeting of Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) could not be held on Friday due to the absence of majority of its members.Sources said the meeting of the Committee, led by its Chairman Raza Rabbani, was to be held in the Parliament House to finalise the document containing proposals for legislation on the issue of missing persons. The members that were present at the meeting included Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Haider Abbas Rizvi and Mian Raza Rabbani. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Raza Rabbani was of the view that he wanted to ensure participation of the Baloch members of the Committee to reach consensus for legislation regarding missing persons. Thus, he found it better not to have meeting of the Committee in the absence of Baloch members, he added.
