Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of new prices of petroleum products to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.
So far as the price of diesel is concerned, the government unscrupulously has brought down it only by Rs 0.20 per litre. Now the transporters will have to purchase it at the cost of Rs 109.93 per litre.
On the other hand, it has been recommended to keep the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel stable as per routine.
New prices will be effective from midnight January 21 subject to the approval of the ministry.
