Rescue-1122 groundbreaking ceremony held in KTH

PESHAWAR - The groundbreaking ceremony of emergency rescue service Rescue-1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Station-66 (Peshawar), was held in Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) on Tuesday.

Commissioner Peshawar Tarik Jamil was the chief guest while Dr Umer Ayub, Chief Executive of Khyber Teaching Hospital, Robina Gilani, Country Director, The Fred Hollow Foundation, Dr Khateer Ahmad, Deputy Director, Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue-1122), and Dr Ayaz, District Emergency Officer, Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) were present at the occasion.
Speaking at the occasion, Commissioner Peshawar appreciated the timely response of Rescue-1122 and efforts of Director General Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122), Khyber Paktunkhwa and his team for the success of the noble service they have been providing to the people of Peshawar. DG Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue-1122), KPK, Dr Shams-ul-Haq highlighted the services provided by Rescue-1122.
and the need of Rescue Station at the location like Khyber Teaching Hospital. He further stated that the progress in this regard was not possible without the cooperation of Chief Executive KTH Dr Umar Ayub Khan.
