KASU R - Phoolnagar police Saturday arrested a man who had allegedly raped his daughter for the last two years. Sheir Muhammad of village Jamber kalan in the limits of Phoolnagar police station had been raping his daughter (S), 22, for the last two years. Later, (S)s mother contracted her marriage but Sheir Muhammad managed her divorce to satisfy his lust. (S) and her mother contacted police and got a case registered against Sheir Muhammad. Police arrested the accused and were investigating. According to police, Sheir is the real father of (S) and he confessed his crime before the police. Dacoits injure taxi driver Unidentified dacoits disguised as passengers shot at and injured a taxi driver here on Saturday evening at Khudian town near Deepalpur road in the limits of Khudian Police Station. Four unidentified dacoits hired a taxi FDF- 6269 from Allahabad town for Kasur ad when they reached near Khudian at Deepalpur road, they at gun point asked driver Shafiq to stop the taxi. As Shafiq put up resistance, one of the dacoits opened firing leaving Shafiq seriously injured. He was rushed to civil hospital Khudian but was referred to Lahore General Hospital in a critical condition. According to Khudian police, the snatched car had been recovered but the dacoits managed their escape.
