Governor Latif Khosa resigns

Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa presented his resignation letter to President Asif Ali Zardari during a visit in Karachi on Saturday.

Latif Khosa has submitted his resignation to the President which is accepted by the President.
The Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naik was also present on the occasion.
On the occasion Latif Khosa said that he acknowledges every party decision. He said that President Zardari takes all decision in party interest.
During the meeting‚ both the leaders discussed the ongoing political situation in Punjab and future strategy for the province.
At the other hand, Interior Ministry has sent a summery to President House for new governor of Punjab.
The ministry recommended the name of Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, a Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) MPA for new governor.
