DINGA - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira urged the people to exercise their right to vote wisely and reject the corrupt, looters and usurpers in the upcoming general elections, which he said would be free and fair.
Addressing a public gathering in Dinga here the other night, Kaira said that the upcoming general elections would be held on time in a free, fair and transparent manner. All the politicians, including the PPP leaders, PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri also wanted the same,” he pointed out.
He said that it was a historical fact that in the past elections were always rigged to keep the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) out of power. Now, since all the stakeholders want free and fair elections, so these will be held on scheduled time according to the Constitution, he added.
He said that all the political forces would have to make joint efforts to root out terroris.
