QUETTA - Four people were killed in a landmine explosion and shootings in Dera Bugti and Kech districts on Thursday. “Three people, including a boy, were heading to Sui on a motorbike when their bike hit a landmine near Dera Bugti, killing them on the spot,” police officials said.They added the blast took place near an FC checkpost. Police and FC personnel rushed to the site and moved the dead bodies to nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities where the deceased were identified as Muhammad Hafiz, Irfhan and Ahmed Hussain Bugti. A four-year-old boy is among the deceased.Police handed over the bodies to heirs after completing legal formalities.Separately, unidentified gunmen killed a man in Tump area of Kech district near Turbat. The deceased, Mehboub, was on his way when he was shot dead.Police moved the body to hospital for autopsy. However, motive behind the murder is to be ascertained yet.
